The George Lopez comedy show
So what are some of your thoughts on the George Lopez comedy show scandal? If you don't know Lopez did a comedy show where he told a "joke" about how Mexicans/hispanics have a rule about never dating black people. A woman who is half Mexican half black was in the audience and when he said that she stood up and put her hands up well Lopez went in on her taking it way too far and eventually kicking this woman out.
A lot of people are defending him saying that comedians make racist jokes all the time and that you shouldn't go to comedy shows if you're going to get offended. People were also saying what he said was true and that hispanics are very racist towards black people. I personally didn't think the joke made any sense because at least where I live hispanics and black people get along and yes we date and procreate with each other. Some of my cousins are half Puerto Rican. My Latina WOC is there truth to what he said?
