mixed race or not?

I just watched a video about being a mixed kid, and I wondered how far into the gene pool do you have to go to stop being mixed? I look obviously Caucasian, but I'm a quarter Portuguese. Plus, I have friends who are super white but are 1/16 native. I check the Hispanic/Latin box, although I am still Caucasian. But if more and more people are in interracial couples nd have kids, at what point to you stop being mixed and become full Caucasian/black/Hispanic/etc?

If you have more than one thing you are mixed. It's simple as that. It doesn't matter how miniscule. And if more and more interacial couples have babies... you won't be pure anything, you just create more and more mixed babies.

Well. 
My friend has a kid that's a quarter black meaning his dad is mixed. 
That boy looks white lol like I asked her if he was the milkmans baby lmao. He's still mixed though and when and if he has kids he has a chance of having a dark skinned baby even if he has babies with a blond hair and blue eyed woman. Genetics are weird and we all probably have so much in us that we don't even know about. I'm white as all hell but my father is Italian and dark skinned. I took my mothers irish genes. But I'm STILL half italian no matter what I look like. I came out brown though lol
But really though I did. It's gonna be really awkward when I have a baby with my SO and it comes out dark lol

Portuguese isn't a race though. So unless your grandparent (I'm assuming that's where you get the 1/4 from) is from an ethnic minority group, you wouldn't be mixed at all.

Honestly I think very few people in America anyways are fully this or that. If you got something in you, it's as simple as that. Whether you identify with it is a different thing, but mixed is mixed in my opinion.
