Is it safe to take cough drops with Percocet?

Question

I just recently got surgery and had to have my left ovary and left fallopian tube removed. They gave me Percocet for the pain.
They also put a breathing tube down my throat during the surgery, which has made my voice raspy and light and made my throat a little phlegmy and sore.
Will I be okay combining these medications?

I looked it up and the medicine in cough drops is menthol 
The only thing I bet you should avoid is dxm which often comes in cough syrups like NyQuil. I'm not sure if only some cough drops have dxm in it or what-not so when you take some just read the ingredients on the bag or package 
I think you'd be fine. 
Also, dxm is an abreviation for a word im not going to attempt to spell. But it's the drug in cough syrup that makes you drowsy and you should probably avoid that while on narcotics.

Honestly, the worst thing that could happen is you might get light headed but it shouldn't affect you. It's just a cough drop
