Is my son ever gonna crawl?

My son is almost 8 months and still not crawling. He just scoots wherever he wants to go and just won't crawl. However, he can pull to stand, cruise, and get into the sitting position like nobody's business. Is this normal for him? I feel like everyone's baby is crawling by now and mine still isn't 😭

Mine does scoot, crawl, or even seem the least bit interested in any of them! She hates being on her belly !

Haha mine isn't even scooting or anything. All he can do it sit up. I wouldn't worry. My first was the same way and she is a healthy 5 year old now.

My son is 8 months and isn't the slightest bit interested in crawling.  He flips himself onto his back when I lay him on his stomach and scoots that way.  He can pull himself up but can't go from laying to sitting on his own yet.

I say cherish every second they're still immobile.  😂

Yours will probably just go from scooting to walking and skip crawling all together. I started walking at 8 months and crawled for maybe a week my mom said. Every baby is different and yours is just doin his thing!! :)

Our pediatrician said some babies never crawl if they find another way to get to where they want.

I guess my daughter pushes the walker and same age every child is different nothing to worry about
