The IUD is 99.9% effective, if you check your strings every so often why not? I don't get the point of getting a $900 birth control option and then not using it for its purpose. That's just me, though

After having a condom break on my, and the plan b not working, I had an ectopic pregnancy, and had a traumatic experience having to get an emergency surgery in the ER. I decided to not take any chances, and use the Mirena and condoms every time. The only reason to not let him cum inside you is if it is out of place. If it's out of place it won't prevent pregnancy. So check before sex and maybe after. It's a quick 2 second check
