What do you think of Tierney for a girl's name?

We came across this name and my husband loves it. We both have Irish Gaelic names and would love a name that goes, if that makes sense. I want a unique name for baby girl, but don't want something too weird.

Im from Ireland, never heard it as a first name. What about Tierna? I've heard of 2 girls with that name and think it's more girly

It's a pretty common surname here in Ireland. It's derived from Tiarna which is the Gaelic for Lord or Master.
