Hydrocortisone works miracles! But mix it with a little aquaphor because sometimes the hydrocortisone can be a little harsh on a baby's face

I went through this 2 weeks ago with my little girl. Her skin looked exactly like your little one.  I was advised by friends to let  the bumps dry out so I didn't moisturize her skin which made matters worse. Doctor said it wasn't eczema but contact dermatitis instead. The bumps were scabbing over in addition to the surrounding skin drying out. I used baby aveeno lotion followed by coconut oil. The scabs left light spots on her face but her doctor said the pigment will return eventually. My baby's skin is clear and soft again.

I thought that's what my baby girl had to but I took her to doctor because it was very red and peeling they said it was inflamed eczema and gave me a steroid cream to bring down the redness and some eczema cream and it cleared up within 7 days

We just went to the dr for her two month appointment and was told our baby has some eczema. I wasn't sure if it was still baby acne or a rash or what, so I never put anything on it. Seems like all I read said don't put lotions and stuff on baby. Glad the dr told us what it was and gave us the okay to use lotion. We just started using eucerin eczema relief and it looks like it's helping.
