gas issues

So I'm 9 days PP and I have only had 2 bowel movements (both seriously painful) but I feel like I have had a hard time passing gas. I'm on pain meds and I have been taking colace to help keep me regular but I have been having bad pains in my stomach recently and I know it is gas pains. Has anyone else gone through this post C section? Any suggestions to help with the pain?
