Whats up w/ clothing sizes?

Whats the deal w/ these pants, they are 0-3 and 3-6 yet they're practically the same size or even smaller, look at this picture to compare. Then i have several onsies that differ in size even though they say they're the same size and the exact same brand. Heres my lo wearing "child of mine" 0-3 currently(she is 8weeks old). What do you like best in baby clothing?

I've noticed different brands are different sizes.     Child of mine I feel runs smaller then carter's actual brand.    My son was in nb on some and 0-3 in others

I have found that carter is right on target for my baby's age/size, gerber is a bit bigger, and child of mine swallows my baby, even if all three brands are the same age/size range.

We have a lot of carter's stuff and the sizing is completely random, some of the 3 month stuff is getting small and some of it is still too big. There's no consistency.

The version of Carters that Walmart and target sell run a little bigger then Carters or vise Versa . But some of my son 3 months fit big and some fit small lol he can still wear his okie dokie sweat pants and Carters sweats that are new born . And he gots be a bout 13 pounds now

Before she was born i sorted all the clothes given to me by size. Now that we're using them up and shes getting bigger im realizing that some sizes are different in different brands. She's about ready to grow out of these sizes already lol😒
