Luna Elise Kamenick 1/31/17

Andrea

My fiance and I welcomed our sweet little girl into this world on January 31st at 10:31pm! Born 5lbs and 11oz at 19 inches tall.

I woke up the morning of the 31st with what felt like mild period like cramps. Around 5pm we headed to the hospital, not really knowing I was in labor. I was admitted around 7pm and by then I was having full blown contractions about four to five minutes apart and I had dilated only to a four. At my last OB appointment a week prior I was a three. I was transferred to the birthing room and around 8:30pm and opted for an epidural. The contractions were about two minutes apart at that point. While lying there my water finally broke. Around 9:45pm a nurse was going to insert a catheter, due to epidural, and told us she would only need to drain my bladder because she could see babies head! Shortly after tons of nurses were in the room and I was in stirrups. At that point I wasn't feeling my contractions, so they had to tell me when to push. Within four sets of three pushes a piece, Luna Elise was born. ❤❤❤

I fell in love instantly and wouldn't change a single thing about the experience!
