when do you start to drop

Question

I'm currently 36 weeks 4 days & my stomach hasn't dropped at all. When do your stomachs start to drop? I'm a FTM and I'm unsure whether to be worried about this. My doctor doesn't seemed to be worried, but I'm hoping this doesn't mean I have to get C section.

I'm a FTM as well as just started dropping, I'm 36 weeks. I literally today just read that some women don't drop until hours before their labor. So don't worry!

The left is 34 weeks and the right is 35! It's so nice having him be lower. I feel like I can finally breath again. Some women don't experience the "drop" until labor!

I didn't drop at all and I was born perfectly fine. I am about to be a ftm myself now (37.4) and my boy hasn't dropped yet either (he sometimes goes down but doesn't stay there). I am not particularly worried about it, since there is nothing I can do anyway. I am preparing a birth plan for both c section and home birth tho, just in case, because you really never know what happens. :)

I started to drop at 35 and still no sign of baby at 38w 3d. I do have a mean waddle though!

I'm exactly 36 days. She has dropped some but not completely. I had an ultrasound yesterday she is head down and ready, but I'm not dilated at all. Today I've had a lot of pelvic pressure so hopefully that means she is dropping some more. My doctor seemed happy that I wasn't dilated any as of yet.

I think it really depends but have heard it's usually around 2wks before labor.

My first baby didn't really drop until I went into labor. It's nothing to be worried about. It doesn't indicate any issues.

With my first I never really "dropped." I took one last belly picture in early labor and friends commented on how I had plenty of time because I was still carrying high. My son was born the next day.
