boy names: junior or no junior

We are expecting a boy and my husband wants to name him a junior. Mind you he has his dads name except the middle name so he's technically not a junior. I REALLY don't want to name my son a junior and want to convince hubby on other names. I just want him to have his own name and identity and not be compared to his dad or always seem like he's in his dads shadow. I really like the name Jacen Alexander and hubby name is Larry Aaron. What you all think? Just give him his junior (which of course he just wants for selfish reasons lol) or let him have his own name ??
