What pregnancy test should I get?

What kind of pregnancy tests do you ladies use? I don't want to get a expensive test if I'm not pregnant. I was supposed to get AF yesterday. My last period was January 13th. I want to test but I think I should wait a few more days which is killing me. I used a 88 cents test from Walmart yesterday morning and it was negative. My boobs been hurting, I keep getting these random headaches, I been cramping a little bit, and sometimes I feel like I need to puke but don't... This would be a awesome Valentine's gift for my fiancé. Help!!
