Do any of you ladies have endo?

I'm currently on my 4th timed intercouse ministim. If this doesn't work I'm going to have surgery for my endometriosis. Has anyone done this? Did it help?

Thanks for the info. My tubes aren't blocked. I know because I've had a pregnancy before.   Hopefully I'm pregnant now and don't have to have the surgery. If not I guess I'll have to.

I have endometriosis,  the laparoscopic surgery is the only way to know for sure if you have it, how bad it is, and where it is at. After unsuccessfully trying to get pregnant for 9 months,  and because of my painful periods that pointed to possible endo my doctor scheduled me to do a laparoscopy and also check my tubes with dye.  In May 2015 I went in for the surgery.  He burned off all of my lesions (basically removed the scar tissue from endo) and found that the endo was all over my uterus, ovaries, tubes, and bladder. The scaring had also completely blocked my tubes which is why I couldn't get pregnant.  In cases where your tubes arent damaged, removing the scar tissue, and then taking hormonal drugs (like birth control) for several months to calm down the endo can make it much easier for you to get pregnant on your own.

In my case since my tubes were completely damaged we knew I would need to go straight to IVF. Im thankful for the surgery because I was able to find out that my tubes were blocked and didnt waste tons of time or money on trying to get pregnant other ways. It gave me answers and a plan.

The surgery itself isn't bad. You will have some discomfort and pain afterwards from the gas, but keeping moving and taking fiber will help. I was also bloated for a few weeks.
