Pregnant after tube removal?

My husband and I started TTC last July right after we got married. We got pregnant almost immediately in early August. It unfortunately was and ectopic pregnancy. I had surgery to remove the ruptured ectopic and my left tube in September. The doctor said my remaining right ovary and tube looked great, and told us we could start trying again in 6 months. I have an appointment this Friday with the doctor for a check up and to get the go ahead to start trying again.

Tell me your success stories, or non success stories, about getting pregnant again with just one tube! It happened so easily the first time, but I'm concerned that it will be hard with only one good tube.

Hi! I had an ectopic last September with right tube removal.  My doc cleared us to try again after about a month of healing.  We decided to wait until I had two cycles.  We became pregnant in December after my 3rd cycle since the surgery.  I ovulated from the right ovary, which travelled down the left tube.  I am now 13w1d and everything is great!  We saw baby at 6w4d, heard the heart beat today, and go back in 3 days for another ultrasound.  Sending positive vibes your way! 💓

I had part of my right tube removed in May 2016. I successfully got pregnant in January 2017 after a month and a half of trying... but lost the pregnancy due to MC. So it's got to know that it can happen but unknown if it'll stick!

I had my left ovary and tube removed and got pregnant.  Unfortunately it is ectopic so I may lose my only tube and have IVF as my only option.  I recommend getting your tube patency checked on your good tube the cycle you are trying to conceive.
