genetic testing?" /> I'm talking about the trisomy 13, etc. tests. I will possibly be getting it at 13 weeks if insurance covers it. Did yours?

Mine doesn't cover anything not "medically necessary" and unless you're high risk they didn't consider it medically necessary. I'm under 30 and my first ultrasound looked good, so not high risk for me :) my dr gave us a sheet with all of the medical codes so we could call our insurance to find out if it's covered.

I called my insurance and they said they wouldn't cover it. Then they did. Which ended up costing me more because of my coinsurance. Ugh. Lol

The harmony test without insurance is $140. But my insurance covered it bc I had an abnormal ultrasound.
