My birth story !
Im a bit late, however I want to share with you guys my journey. 💙💙.
On 2/2 I went in for a normal prenatal check up and was told I needed to stay because I was being induced 😏 "39+4" so I kinda expected it. Stress text was done to see how baby respond to contractions, test went well so I was moved to a private labor and delivery room.
Once there .. I was given cervidil twice "which had to be inserted manually into my VA-jj" *ouch* had to wait 12hrs to be checked to see if my cervix ripened 😳 each time couldn't eat or drink anything or walk around
The second dozed most definitely thin my cervix and begin giving me contractions, I was checked again .. and to my surprise I was 2 1/2 cm shortly after my nurse checked me while in mid-phone call I felt a "pop" sensation in my vagina 2big gushes of water not to mention my mucus plug made its way down 💦 at 12:15am
I was given pitocin 😡 which cause the contractions to become extremely intense in a short amount of time. Grrrrrrr
I was checked a third time and was told I was 8cm at that time I requested an epidural "I knowwwwww" I was so close but I couldn't handle the pain any longer.
Received the epidural , and immediately was prepped for delivery... (my favorite part) I was so exhausted by this time I had been awake close to 48hrs
3 pushes and out came baby Hayden Gabriel 7lbs even 21inch at 4:27am 💙🖤💙🖤FTM
