lunch meat while pregnant?

i am 10 weeks pregnant. is it really unsafe for me to eat bologna?? i am craving it soooooo bad! is it really dangerous?

I eat lunch meat about once a week twice if I'm craving it and I'm 23 weeks now I don't warm up the meat I eat it cold. I'm just a firm believer if I didn't get sick before being pregnant while eating lunch meat what's the chance of me getting sick off a sudden cuz im pregnant now me and baby are prefecly fine

Your supposed to heat it up till it steams. It'll hurt the baby.  Well the bacteria in it. Its not because of you its the baby. Ive seen so many warnings about lunch meat for pregnant women.  Its in every cite and paper I see on what not to eat while pregnant.  So heat it up

I ate lunch meat with my son all of the time. I have eaten a few sandwiches this pregnancy too. I think as long as it's in moderation and you don't eat an entire package of it in one sitting, you should be fine.

I loved on subway my first trimester. I never heated the meat either. You can get listeria from pretty much anything. They just recalled sargento cheese for listeria contamination.

It's supposed to be heated a minimum of 30sec. But I mean once in a while cold and fresh shouldn't be a problem.
