where does your LO take naps?

My son is 15weeks old and I tried to put him to nap in his crib for a week and it was hard for me because he would not sleep longer and I had to go upstairs every time his binki fell. And I had to keep checking on his monitor. Now he is back to his swing for his nap. He would sleep for over 2hrs in his swing. He sleeps in his crib at night though. When should I move him to his crib for naps?

My lo doesn't really nap he's more of a 15 minute cat napper while he eats but he sleeps through the night so to me it works. I prefer him to sleep through the night than to worry about long naps he's like his dad only needs short little cat naps to make it through the day.

We were in the same boat at about 12 weeks. She slept great in her swing (2+ hrs) but I wanted to move her to the crib for naps because I knew it would have to happen eventually. It honestly took about a month of putting her down at fairly regular times in her crib for her to get the hang of it. The first two weeks she didn't sleep longer then 30-45 min each nap and had to have about 5 naps a day.  I would pick one nap a day and try to help lengthen it by patting and shooshinh if she woke up early or rocking her back to sleep. Those first two weeks were really frustrating, but I'm glad I kept at it. Now at 17 weeks she can do longer naps in the crib (1.5 hrs) and put herself back to sleep without her paci (sometimes). If you want to do it, I would say consistency is key.

Usually in my arms on my lap right after nursing. I just can't help it, she's my rainbow baby and my last baby and I can't get enough of her. She usually wakes up when I try to put her in her swing or cradle.

Mine sleeps in a pack and play in our bedroom where she sleeps at night. I'd like her to sleep in her own crib but it's not dark enough in her room during the day.

My LO sleeps in his cot for naps during the day, and has since 12 weeks old to help with the transition to his own room. If we are not at home he sleeps in his pram or on a sofa next to me. He probably would sleep anywhere you put him when tired

My LO naps in my bed. I just build a pillow fort around her and watch her closely on the camera. She has x2 2 hour naps a day 😁
