Doctor hasn't checked me still?

Question

I'm almost 37 weeks and my doctor still hasn't checked to see if I'm dilated or anything yet. Has anyone else's doctor not checked them?

My doctor never checked me with my first because she said there really is no reason to unless you're having symptoms that require you to be. It can cause infection(although not real common) and when you go into labor you'll know lol 
Although a lot of doctors check there are some who don't or don't until around your due date. I went for induction a week past my due date with my first and wasn't dilated at all still.

I'll be 37 weeks on Sunday, and my doctor still has not checked me for dialation either. Hoping she will soon because I am dying to meet my baby boy and wanting to know if I'm making any progress!

My doctor checked me a day short of 36 weeks. It was nothing. At my next appointment he said he would just wait till next week to check again. I am not worried about it we can't predict what will happen until it is happening.

38 weeks today and it hasn't even been mentioned to me. This is my first pregnancy with no complications so I have a feeling he won't check unless I go past my due date.

I'm 37 weeks and my doctor was going to check me but I said I wanted to wait till 38 weeks because I heard it hurt and don't want to have to more than necessary😂

My dr checked at 36 weeks after doing my strep b swab. Didn't know she was checking, wasn't told it was going to happen, so I wasn't very impressed. At my previous visit they said they would start at 38 weeks. I'm declining future checks till I'm either showing signs of labor or hit 40 weeks.
