Light period like cramps? 36w on Saturday! Anyone else?

Would this be small contractions? I have heard it feels like period cramps or poop cramps. My baby has dropped, I am having constant bowel movements 2 to 3 a day, and I will see my doctor tomorrow for the strep b swab. I feel like I am in early labor but I don't want to get my hopes up. TIA ladies!

Probably contractions but doesn't necessarily mean you're in labor, probably just your body preparing. 
Ive been having contractions over a week and I'm only 1cm dilated - and not in labor per doctor, just body preparing for now.

Yes just started having this ! At first I thought I had to poop but realized that it was cramping. Lol I'm 35+1

It could also be dilation. Contractions don't feel like period cramps but more like the worst gas pain ever lol!

That's been happening to me, plus tons of Braxton Hicks and practice contractions. No real labor yet. I think we're in the stage of everything resembling labor lol.

This has been me all day! I'll be 37 weeks tomorrow, and ever since waking up I've had that dull achy feeling like period cramps. It hasn't been anything to time because it lasts for a while. I'm thinking it's just our bodies preparing for labor.
