First night of ferber method!

Please let me know everything will be alright after this. My son will not sleep on his own. I have to rock/pat/sing to him at least 20 minutes and wait til hes dead asleep to put him down. He naps 40 minutes at the most, wakes every 3 hours to eat or less, and every hour and a half just to fuss and fully wake up. He'll be 7 months next week and I haven't gotten more than 4 hours of sleep in about 4 months.

It took 42 minutes the first night. I'm so heartbroken, but this momma wants to sleep so bad!!!!!!!💔
