anyone have/had Pubic Symphysis Diastasis?

How do you distinguish it from "normal" pregnancy pains? I know towards the end everything is uncomfortable but everything hurts SO bad down there and I feel like it's not just a "normal" pregnancy pain. I know there's not much they can do about it either way, but I've heard sometimes you have to have a csection because of it so that's why I'm asking for experiences with it 🙂 tia!

I have it too! I'm 36 weeks with my first and I thought it was a sign that she was coming early (the pains got really bad around 32 weeks) and all my symptoms were spot on for PSD. Turning over in bed, getting in and out of the car, walking, etc. I haven't found anything that helps. I do pigeon stretches but they don't help much. I still walk for exercise but I pay for it later in the day.

This is my second pregnancy with it. I have had this since I was about 10 weeks pregnant and it's awful. My first pregnancy I did have a c section, but not because of this, because I was induced and never would dialate. I elected to have a scheduled c section this time around too. I'm 30 weeks currently and nothing I do eases the pain! Then add in sciatic nerve pain and I'm just all around hurting and barley able to walk! From what I can tell, you'll be able to tell the difference from contractions and pains associated with SPD.
