Any advice for being super sick?! 🤒
So I'm 33 weeks pregnant with my first baby. I've have this serious cold/flu for over 2 weeks now. I have pretty bad seasonal allergies and asthma. Before I was pregnant I was always prone to sinus infections, strep, and catching any colds that were going around, because my immune system is not very strong. Ive gone to the doctor this week and he thinks it's a sinus infection but didn't even do any tests. He said he doesn't wanna put me on antibiotics. I'm kinda okay with that cause I know they can harm the baby, but I am not getting better and every day I am feeling weaker and weaker. My doctor has me taking Benadryl at night, sutafed, using nasal saline for my nose, gargling salt water for my throat. I only feel like my symptoms are getting worst. My ears have major drainage I have so much built up mucus I'm swallowing it, throwing it up,blowing out chunks, coughing and choking on it. My throat is super red and I have to take my inhaler because I'm coughing so hard I can't breathe at points. I'm at a point where I don't know what to do. Does anybody have any recommendations or remedies that could help me get rid of this infection?!
