How long on birth control pill before stims?

Hi all! We are officially moving forward with IVF. I was told to call on day one of my cycle, and they would start a cycle plan for me. I was just wondering, how long were you on birth control pills before starting your stims? I know it is different for everyone, but I am thinking at least a month?

I was on it for 14 days I think.

I was onbirth control for a total of 3 weeks and the last 5 days of that overlapped with my morning injection of Lupron.

I just started the pill three days ago and I have three weeks left on it before I start injections. I have endo and cysts so I think the doc wants to settle those first.

We're not using the pill at all. No cysts and a regular cycle so no need.

I think it depends on the Dr. I had one Dr tell me she was going to put me on the pill for 2 months. I didn't end up proceeding with her though. The next place I went to had me take it for a week. This cycle a new Dr had me on it for a month.
