How long did it take you to start ovulating after stopping BC?

I have been of BC since Sept. I was on it for 10 years. I'm worried I am not ovulating. I started bbt charting this month and I have seen no sign that I've ovulated. My cm, cervical position and mood have not indicated it either. My cycles used to be 29 days before BC, and now they are 25. How long should I give it before I start taking something? I'm considering taking vitex. Any advice is welcome!

I just got off my pill at the beginning of this month. If we don't get pregnant this cycle I'm going to buy ovulation test as it's the one thing I forgot to pick up when buying prenatal vitamins and pregnancy test. I didn't bother running to get any because it's not going to change anything. Either I do or I don't.
