Teeth????

My baby is 7 months old and just got 2 teeth coming in....I'm a ftm so my question is do I brush them....do I use toothpaste....at what age do I start taking her to the dentist

You shouldn't use anything with fluoride until a year! My daughter's dr said just to wipe her mouth down daily with a clean wash cloth and water!

I've got a baby toothbrush & Colgate baby toothpaste. I try and brush her teeth twice a day but that pesky tongue makes it difficult! Even if you are not always successful it's ok at this stage as it's more about getting them used to it. Start taking them to the dentist as early as possible even if it's just with you when you have check ups as it helps them to get familiarised with a strange man looking in mouths!!

You are suppose to start brushing gums with a rubber finger brush and infant toothpaste daily after a couple months.  So I would say if you haven't started it is a great time to start.
