A few years ago, I moved in with my mom to help pay bills, and so all of us could save money for the future. Currently in the house is myself, my husband, my mom, and her girlfriend. We live upstairs, they live downstairs, we all share a kitchen. I'm not working at this moment, but am returning ASAP after my baby boy is born. The biggest problem I have is that my mom and her girlfriend are very messy people. They don't clean up after themselves, and at the end of the day I feel like a live in maid service. I'm 39 weeks, and of course my mom is gonna want time with the baby. But I don't feel comfortable leaving him in an area I know isn't clean. I've already approached them about the messes they make since before I even got pregnant, and it seems like it's not sinking in to them how serious I am about needing a clean environment for my baby. Am I over reacting? If you've gone through a similar situation, or have any advice PLEASE talk to me 😤
