Is she mixed?

My baby fathers dad is 50% black and 50% white. Baby dads mom is black. I'm black. Will my baby be mixed? Or will she be black? I'm just curious as I will love her anyway! Just curious about genetics 🤗

some say mixed but it's always been if you have any black in you then you're just black.

Your baby is mixed. But all that matter is that your baby will be healthy and happy!! So my MIL is half black and her ex husband is black. My husband looks black. I'm half black and half Korean so our kid is half black, quarter Korean and the rest Irish and Syrian. My child looks half Korean and half black. He is my twin lol

The DNA will be mixed but the child will probably look darker in skin tone. My ex is half white and half black and his baby mom is black. Their beautiful daughter looks black.

My baby cousins are 25% white  75% Mexican. No one thinks their white. But yes the are mixed. It's still in their DNA whether they look it or not.

My SO is half black, half white. His mom is white. I'm white. I consider him mixed, but he barely looks it. My SO has a dark complexion to be mixed. My son has my hair type & has a very light complexion. If someone were to ask what his race is technically, I wouldn't have a clue. He has more white than black in him, but he still has a mix of both races.

Genetics are a crazy thing, there's no saying who your baby will take after until they're here. My son is mixed i guess you could call it.. im irish/canadian, my hubby is spanish/italian. I have the fair skin, green eyes, blonde hair.. he has the nice tan skin with dark hair and eyes. Our son has an olive skintone, blue eyes, and beautiful fine honey-blonde hair. I NEVER would have guessed blue eyes or blonde hair but it was mine and my hubby's italian genes that dominated. No matter colour of skin, your baby will be beautiful! It's so amazing seeing certain things passed down to your child that hasn't been seen in generations or just seeing the mix you guys made :)
