Girl, you're going to hate me for saying this, but you need to let him go. He's telling you he doesn't want a real relationship, he can't and won't give you what you want and need. I know how it is to love someone and how it feels to let that person go, I know how hard it is, but trust me, it's for the better. Better for you emotionally and mentally. It sucks, I know. But it's something everyone goes through, just a part of life, but with the way you're talking to him and he's talking to you, yalls relationship has been over for a while... you're both hanging on to something that's no longer there and it's hurting you both.

To me it seems that he's trying to slowly let you down- he isn't saying much other than TELLING you he doesn't see a long term relationship or life with you and what you currently want. Don't focus on what you're begging him to do- focus on only his words only. He is letting you know exactly what he feels about the situation. he is wasting your time - you should ALWAYS come first.. and not made to feel like you don't matter. YOU DO! your feelings matter.

he's trying to put it on you so you're the one to end it.. 
my ex did the same to me - he kept saying the EXACT same things "what if you'll be happier without me" "we always try and it doesn't work"

as hard as it is, you need to let him go.
it's going to hurt like hell, that part i can't lie about. BUT you will find someone who puts you first. 
letting go - especially since i knew i tried so hard to fix it made it that decision much easier. i gave my ex way too many second chances but nothing changed.

You want way more then what he wants and he doesn't want to hurt you from the replies he wasn't in the mood to talk to you... you begging and minimizing your wants and desires makes you seem weak.... the relationship been over and your to blind to see... it's time for you to just end it and focus on being a better you, your relationship is toxic if he does stay he will be suffering and unhappy in side because he will be doing something he doesn't want to do... and what if he never wants kids or to travel and all the stuff you really want you will be suffering inside because you gave up everything you really want just to stay wuth someone who is familiar who you became used to having around
