That's really not normal. You really should go see a doctor. That looks like an excess (a really big excess) of mucus (it's naturally secreted by the cells of your intestinal tract). See a doctor about that immediately.

If you're just getting over a cold or a sickness and you're coughing up snot and swallowing it that could be a cause.
