nuvaring slipping

I've notice all month that my nuvarig has been really close to my "opening"and it has been very irritating and itchy. I keep taking it out washing it off and pushing it back up but I do it in a squatting position, and if stays there comfortablely for a couple hours but then I do my daly activities and I get that discomfort of it being too close. Why is my nuvaring slipping out so much?
