tummy sleeping

My Lo is 7 months, and will only sleep on her tummy. I lay her down on her back and she is up within minutes, if I switch her to her belly she will sleep for a good5-6 hours. Every night I lay her down I go in and check on her so much to make sure she is breathing. I'm so scared of SIDS, but She is rolling over and can pick up her head and move it, should I just bite the bullet and just keep trying her back? First baby so I'm a little paranoid. TIA!
