You mean nexplanon? The insertion hurts just as much as getting a tetanus shot. A little prick then it's over and you're sore at the insertion spot for a couple of days

Insertion? They numbed my arm before they cut it and placed it inside. I felt no pain, just a weird object in me. After the numbing wears off your arm does feel horrible. It hurts but after a while all the pain is gone. My periods began starting a week later, and on the 6th month I had a 4-week period, it stopped for a week, then I began bleeding again for another week. Nevertheless, it does its job! I've had unprotected sex many times, and each time I did not end up pregnant.
