Spotting while pregnant- TMI

I am 13 weeks pregnant with my first baby, last week I fell down some stairs and hit my stomach. I started cramping and spotting and I don't have any insurance right now (trying to get Medicaid but i keep getting denied) so I went to the hospital to check on everything and they said the baby was fine. They told me to check with an OB in a week and keep an eye out for clots. I got this today and it worried me. What do you think?
