brown discharge every time before period?

Been on birth control for 8 months. I always get this brown sticky discharge a week-3 days before my period starts. I know people say it could be old blood but I was wondering if anyone else gets it too?

This happens to me too. I've been on bc for almost three years and got switched to a different brand not too long ago and this started. Ithoght it was super weird too but everyone on here seems to think it's normal

Yeah, it's just old blood that's being flushed out. Perfectly normal for practically everyone that has a uterus. :)

Yes I do. Didn't used to then I did depo for 6 months. I stopped depo shot like 5 years ago and now get brown spotting and discharge before periods even 5 years later
