TMI. no pictures just talking about discharge and cervical mucus

I always have egg white/watery discharge no matter what time of the month it is. However I had creamy, gooey, super white discharge Saturday but it went away Sunday. Possible early sign of pregnancy? I'm supposed to start March 1. I tested yesterday but it was negative, but it was 8 days before I was supposed to test. Could I have tested too early? My hubby and I have been TTC for almost 15 months now.
