start bc on the first day???

I haven't been on the pill in so long and just recently got off the mirena.

Is it good to take your birth control pill the first day of your period or wait until the Sunday after?

Answer

I started mine the first day of my period because you're protected immediately that way (at least with my pill you are). But it doesn't matter which you day you start. My pack came with stickers I could place at the top of the pack to keep track of the days but if you do the Sunday start you won't need to do the stickers
