ugh I can't

My boyfriend and I were talking about him buying a new car and I suggested he lease it because by then he will be out of college ect. Well I honestly shouldn't have said anything because he goes my parents own a 3 million dollar business I think they know more than u and your parents. I was just like okay for me don't ask my opinion or talk to me about it then. I wanted to argue money talk back but I was just so in shocked. I wish I had a good comment back. It's not like my family is not good financially and it was just an idea. What would you do/say. I know I shouldn't take it personally but I do. How would you respond to this?
