Have you ever suffered from prenatal depression?

For those of you who had this can you please tell me what your experience was like? I am almost certain that I have something going on with my hormones. I feel no happiness, I don't care about anyone or anything. I need help but I am afraid if I tell my ob she will just put me on meds which I do not want. Will this resolve itself? Please help💔

I felt with this. I went to see my own counselor. She knew I was pregnant and because of that wanted to deal with it without medication. That was great by me. Talk to someone. You don't have to be on medication if you don't want. Let them know though, it could trigger PPD.

I definitely feel the same, I'm 32 weeks now and I get depressed, you can definitely talk to your ob about it, she can't make you do anything, I don't believe in medication for anxiety and depression but I do believe in natural remedies and they definitely helped! I don't have friends or family where I live and so it gets lonely especially when my husband is gone all day to work! It's hard doing things alone but I try to stay positive, I pray everyday, I read, since I started going on walks I feel so much better. Days where I feel like crap I still try my best! I tell myself if I can do it anyone can!! I pray the best for you! Definitely get out there and seek help if you need to! Medicine is not the only option:)

Definitely tell your dr.  Meds are not the only answer, therapy can definitely help.
