Baby Gender Reveal

I've noticed the older generations that I speak to about finding out the gender of one's baby before birth all seem to think it "ruins the surprise" or "there's no need to find out, as long as it's healthy". Whereas all people in my age bracket that have had babies (that I know) found out the gender before the birth. I think it has just become the norm.

My question is: what did you do/want to do? And why? Personally; I think a surprise would be nice but I'd be too curious and probably find out before the birth. 😊
