Is a stroller/car seat set a must have?

What worked best for you?! I'm unsure between buying a cute pram and an extend-to-fit car seat or if I will want the convienience of a car seat that clicks in and out of a base in the car and the stroller! Way to many options for simpletons like me!

Btw by Ex seat I mean extendable seat!

I had a travel system to keep baby sleeping while transitioning from car to home or store. Then after he was 6 months got the extension seat. If you don't want to worry about fussy baby you'll want a travel system.

I had a car seat an stroller that didn't click with my son an hated it if I didn't want to wake him up I had to lug around his heavy car seat ....or I had to wake him take him out of the seat an put him in the stroller this baby I got the travel system
