I'm worried about getting induced. How is it?

I'm a FTM and I'm 4 days overdue. My due date was on the 18th. Last week my doctor said I wasn't dilated and yesterday I went for an ultrasound and a NST non stress test or biophysical. Everything came out OK and I was told if I don't deliver by this upcoming Monday I would have to be induced. I was supposed to see my doctor today but they had to cancel my appointment because my doctor won't be in so she won't be available until next week Wednesday.

Omg u know I'll b totally honest... if induction was an option I would take it every time it may feel more intense on the contractions however most ladies find it speeds things up a fair bit. Certainly did for me with my son and the pushing time was only 2 minutes! It's honestly not as scary as u think :) xx

My induction was a dream, 7 hours total.

It's not bad, they give you pitocin and it starts contractions. I wasn't dialated at 40+5 weeks and was in labor for 24 hours and only dilated to a 2. I had to have a c section, but not every cause of induction is the same.

Its not bad at all, they give you a shot to get you started ,and the doc breaks your water and you start contracting like with normal labor. I have been induced 3/4 times. Everything will be fine. Congrats and good luck sweets. I wanna see that baby😄😄
