Rise settings

So I'm just curious about when everyone started not buttoning the rise at all and just letting it go unsnapped?? My daughter is 20 lbs and almost 9 months and this is her in her funky fluff. Is she a little young to go unsnapped or am I just in denial about her getting bigger?? Also we are very new to cloth so if I'm doing something wrong or the fit doesn't look right, please tell me!
