Let's see with my first they were back like clock work at 6 weeks pp (bleeding stopped at 5 weeks). Was ebf with her. Second and third also ebf and they were back at 4 weeks pp (stopped bleeding at like 2-3 weeks with them). So the whole bf-ing=no period is not entirely true. Your body is going to do what it's going to do.

I'm only on my second period since pregnancy, mine didnt come back until 7 months postpartum. that period was light spotting for 4 days. this current one came on time but it's been longer than my normal (5 days long) hoping it will shorten up next month

It depends if your breastfeeding for most women it does not return until you are done breastfeeding...some may experience a period while breastfeeding but it doesn't usually regulate exactly, my period didnt start till i stopped breastfeeding around 8 months.
