Need advice?!?!

So I am currently in my forth month of pregnancy and I've had some discharge. I already know that's normal, it's just to help prevent infection and all that. But my boyfriend apparently heard that it's not good to have sex while I have this discharge because he can get sick. Is that true? Or just something he's making up to not have sex..?

He probably isnt making excuses to prevent intimacy with you. He's probably just being overly cautious do to his fluctuating hormones. Men can go through a lot of crazy stages with us while we are pregnant and it can make them act very strange. My husband, who is typically mild mannered and passive aggressive went nuclear on a guy in public because the guy made me feel bad! (Which made me laugh so hard I almost peed my pants, I am usually the more vocal of us, he's had to carry me out of a bar because I got into a confrontation with a guy years ago). But if your boyfriend is concerned about it being a yeast infection and keeps saying that, you could maybe try buying one of those home testing kits from your local drug store or getting tested as the doctor to show him that everything is all good.

He will be fine only reason he should avoid sex is if u had a yeast infection and he didn't wanna shower afterwards yeah guys can get a yeast infection but it's uncommon

He's probably referencing a yeast infection or std which can cause discharge. Are you itchy or irritated at all down there? That is a big sign of a yeast infection. You should have had std screening done at your first prenatal visit.

Discharge is completely normal. Unless you smell, or are itchy/burning (signs of infection), it will not harm him.
