Right side rib pain?

Question

Hey ladies. Just wondering if anyone else is feeling this painful/burning in your rib area? Mine is really only happening on the right side. I asked the Dr. and he didn't seem very concerned, just kinda said "things are stretching in there". 
The pain comes and goes but I just wanted to see if anyone else had this and what you did to help relieve it. Thanks!

Most certainly had this! And still feel it occasionally. It started around 25 weeks and has eased in the last week or so (I'm now 32 weeks). First I had it on my right side then my left. Sitting straight up for long periods definitely aggravated it. Reclining or standing as much as I could helped. I also had warm showers before bed. And continue to sleep with a soft pillow under my ribs to support the area. I feel your pain. And hope you feel an improvement soon.

I have it, I had it with my first also. When you sit, you need to put a pillow behind you that arches your back. That really helps. The pain is from your ribs sitting on the uterus and stretching. If you arch your back, it allows for the ribs to not sit on the uterus and it helps with the pain

Sometimes it feels like my baby is trying to crawl under the right side of my ribs. I read that getting on all fours and stretching ur back and pelvis up and forth and down and back helps.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I've had this pain since 10weeks, I'm 34 weeks now.  Some days it's unbearable.  My doc isn't concerned either.   I also walk around with an ice pack tucked under my boob. I hope it goes away the second this little man comes out because boy is it uncomfortable.

I had this from like 28w - 33w... horrible!!! 34w now & it seems to have calmed down. Mine felt like my skin was on fire... like it had been rubbed raw but there was no irritation actually to my skin. My doctor said unfortunately it is often a side effect of pregnancy (especially in smaller / shorter women). He said it was caused from stretching and the muscles/nerves are pulling away from the rib cage. I literally walked around with an ice pack tucked under my boob. Bio Freeze also helped relieve some of the pain.

yessssss . my rib on the right side especially hurts horriblely & i asked my doctor he said it's normal

I have this too, I chalk it up to my bra digging into my belly since I sit at a desk all week, once I take bra off it goes away.

I have a burning sensation under my right rib too. Wondered if it was where baby's feet are as he's head down. Who knows. It comes and goes and doesn't really bother me.

I've been getting this the past couple of days, especially when I'm getting up from the couch. Was a little concerned but I figure it's just stretching or baby's position.
