preeclampsia scare?

Had my 23 week checkup today my blood pressure is still high and now I have to go through all of this testing to see if I have toxemia (blood work and collect my urine for 24 hours) and they told me don't bet on going past 37 weeks which distresses me because one I want my baby to go full term and not have any health issues, I never took meds ore pregnancy but now I have to have blood pressure medicine daily..oh and that would make my due date my childs fathers daughters birthday which will bring up a lot of drama and it's my first child I want her to have her own special day. Anybody go through this testing and NOT have preeclampsia?
