Funeral

So my best friend just lost her nephew the other day. He was only 3 weeks old and we're all just heart broken over this loss. My husband and I will be traveling to the funeral to support my friend. We also have a 2 month old daughter, but I'm thinking it may be best to have her stay with grandma due to the nature of this funeral. Question is, am I right for having her stay with grandma? Should I even go since seeing a baby so close to my daughters age like that will be hard? If I go, should I wear traditional black clothing? Any advise is appreciated.
