Is three times a week too much or not enough? Me husband and I went from sex twice a week to three times a week at least now that we are ttc and it seems like a lot! I'm just wondering how much the average couple has sex, and then how much they have sex when ttc. Also, how do you keep it spicy in the bedroom?

I think everyone's normal is different, but we normally have sex everyday. To keep it spicy we try different things like maybe different positions, place, or even role play.

3-4 times a week is great for ttc every other day is recommended. Sperm linger 48 hours at the least and up to 3-4 days average. But can stay up to six days rarely.

Nobody can really answer that for you since its based on your guys sex drives and the time and energy you have for sex. 2 or 3 times a week sounds fine to me. In my relationship we have sex every day but I know other people who think that's a little much

My fiance and I have sex everyday a couple times a day, mostly for fun even though we are ttc. you definitely don't need to bd that much though, every other day is fine!

My husband and I have upped ours to 3 times a week as well. Not gonna lie, it's not easy! I love my husband and enjoy our sex life. However, we both work full time jobs, have a long commute back and forth to work. We also have our teenage daughter( my step daughter) on top of that. It can be stressful to get those days in especially during fertile week. We have been ttc for a year now. We have an incredible sense of humor during the process. Plus we have fun with it. A nice piece of lingerie or a massage, different places in the house when we have the house to ourselves! Communication is key in this process. Good luck!
